How long does ketamine last?

The most prominent effects of nasal ketamine begin to subside after about one hour from dosing. After two hours, most people feel ready to head out. During this recovery period, you will continue to have access to a private space where you can rest. We’ll bring you fruit and tea, and make sure you’re comfortable.

Most people feel comfortable navigating public transportation by the time they leave the space. Occasionally, people decide to call a car or have a friend travel home with them. We will help you make whatever arrangements you need to get you where you’re going safely. We will never send someone on their way before it’s safe.

What should I do after I leave?

Although the acute effects of ketamine will have worn off before you leave, it isn’t uncommon that people feel a shift in their energy level or emotional state. How many times and how often should I come?

If you are struggling with a challenging experience of mind or mood, we strongly recommend the standard 6-session package completed over the course of 6 weeks. How does the Lascaux Method work?

We chose the name for our method carefully, and in it there lies a very slight joke. The “Lascaux Method” might sound like an approach based on the works of a famed French theoretician and, as such, something that takes a lot of training and learning to understand before one can apply its techniques. Our name, [...]
